About This Role:

The Endo Surgical Technologist assists ourendoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. Works in direct collaboration with the Registered Nurse and physician to meet unit and patient needs by performing patient care activities and offers comprehensive technical assistance during routine and complex procedures. The Technologist functions as an integral member of the health care team by contributing to the efficient operation of the unit. Performs circulating activities under the direction of the assigned RN circulator in multi-specialty cases (when one or more procedures are performed). Our Surgical Technologists also assist to precept new surgical technologists.

What You Need:

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

Graduate of anaccredited Surgical Technology program andnational certification (NBSTSA).

Minimum Experience:

Two (2)years ofexperience as aSurgical Technologist. Ability to assist on complex OR casesand ability to cover multiple services and multiple cases. Must possess great communication skills, a high level of professionalism.

Preferred: Two years experience in endoscopy.

Shift: Full-Time position,10 Hour shifts flexed between 7:00am-8:00pm with weekend rotation as needed.
