We have a brand new opening for a General or Advanced GI provider in our Northern California hospital. This facility is a 355 Bed Hospital, with 8 ORs & a Da Vinci robot, they have a freestanding surgical center next to the hospital with 4 ORs, and 3 Endo Suites that does 400 total cases per month. You have a dedicated MA that does the H&Ps, authorizations and referrals. Our department has 1 GI NP (adding more now) that screens for colonoscopies and low acuity visits so the GIs can focus on higher acuity.

This is a turnkey practice, they have everything needed to be successful. The hospital does not dictate how to practice or what cases you can do. If it fits within your skill set, they have the ability to do the case, and the support staff/ equipment to do it. There will be lots of general cases like GERD, Crohn’s, Scopes, etc and the practice gets a lot of IBD, which they are happy to give it all away to an incoming provider. 
 
The basic position overview is:
 
- Join 5 Other GIs in a Fully Supported Practice, including a daytime GI Hospitalist 
- 90 Day wait to see current GIs
- Call is 1:6/7, only nights and weekends
- H1B Visa Sponsorship Will be Considered
- Employed Position with Salary and Benefits
- Guarantee Base Salary, Student Loans, Sign, Relocation, etc.
 
The General GI Position overview is:
- 3 Days in the outpatient surgical center, 1.5 Day in clinic
- 20-25 Surgeries per Week
- 50 Clinic Patients per week
- 30 Minutes per new visit, 15 minutes for follow-up
 
The Advanced Position overview is:
- 3 Days in the outpatient surgical center, 1.5 Day in clinic
- 300 - 350 ERCPs & EUS per year
- Barrett's Esophagus, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, and more
