Overview

St. Luke's Health System is currently seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our busy practice in Twin Falls, ID at Blue Lake's Gastroenterology. Blue Lakes Gastroenterology is a close, collegial team of 4 physicians, 3 advanced practitioners and support staff. This role is comprised of primarily out patient GI services, seeing patients for both pre and post procedural work. The selected individual will be working in clinic, week days, during daytime hours with no call. Services performed in the clinic include screening, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies, diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, push enteroscopy, small bowel capsule endoscopy, esophageal impedance testing and manometry, and feeding tube placement and management. We also provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of liver disease, including cirrhosis, hepatitis, and liver cancer; post-liver transplant management; and ultrasound guided liver biopsy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master's Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
• Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy clinical environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
• Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
