This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced physician with demonstrated clinical and leadership skills, to lead our comprehensive Valley-Wide Gastroenterology team.
Details and requirements of this position include:
This position provides oversight for Valley-wide Gastroenterology clinical and financial performance
This leader ensures the clinical quality of those providers and implements and tracks system clinical quality initiatives
Excellent clinical training and a strong interest in program development, mentorship, and performance
Serves as a member of the BMG executive and clinical leadership teams and supports effective collegial relationships with applicable internal and external constituents and stakeholders
The Service Line Medical Director role will be 10-30% administrative based on the span and scope of responsibility with the remaining time assigned to clinical duties
BC/BE MD or DO and level of expertise typically gained through five years of experience in clinical practice
Three years of leadership experience either within a medical group or hospital-organized medical staff
Candidates who also hold a Master’s Degree preferred
