This position is responsible for:Providing and coordinating nursing care to the pediatric population and collaborating with other professionals on an institutional, community, state and national level.The nurse performs complete and accurate patient assessment or reassessment of pediatric patients with acute and long term gastroenterology conditions. Responsible for patient flow of clinic to include obtaining vital signs, capturing and entering patient information into the EMR, performance of basic laboratory tests and entering results in EMR. Also responsible for collecting and preparing laboratory specimens, performing EKGs, in office testing and rooming patients. Ensure provider's orders are carried out and assists provider with procedures as necessary.
