The Division of Endocrinology at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Physician Assistant to join its team. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, manage, and treat hormonal conditions, including diabetes, and provide compassionate care for patients with simple and complex endocrine diseases in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsibilities will include overseeing patient flow, providing follow up care, and supporting the nursing team by responding to concerns and emergent situations in the clinic and hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a strong background in endocrinology and/or diabetes management.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program and have a national Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are five (5) days per week, with rotating Saturdays and call coverage, as needed. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
