Demonstrates knowledge of the conditions/diagnoses, procedures and equipment encountered in the Endoscopy unit including Gastroenterology, and Pulmonary. Exhibits knowledge of and consistently maintains SGNA standards of practice. Assesses patient reaction and understanding of procedure/instructions- actively including the patient and family members in teaching. Demonstrates flexibility and responsibility in meeting staffing needs of the unit.
