The Clinical Coordinator has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department. Work collaboratively with general practitioner to provide assessment, treatment, education, and care to various types of patients, ranging from infants to the elderly.

Minimum Education
X Completion of state approved nursing program or Associates degree in Nursing X Required
X Bachelors degree in Nursing X Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
ACLS within 6 months of hire

  Licenses:
  Valid licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Minimum Work Experience

• Five (5) year of clinical nursing experience in a physician practice setting is preferred.
