DescriptionSummary:Under the supervision and/or direction of the Registered Nurse, or as ordered by the physician, the Endoscopy Technician performs various direct patient care activities in accordance with the Nursing Department policies and procedures. The Endoscopy Technician is able to assist with all procedures including but not limited to: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Peg?s, Brochoscope, Motility testing, and other patient care activities performed in the Endoscopy Department.
