Summary

We are looking for a dedicated full-time APP to join our MyMichigan Bariatric Surgery Team! This is an exciting opportunity for the right Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to be part of an outstanding accredited Bariatric program. This position will partner with the bariatric surgeon to assist patients on their weight loss journey.

• Full-Time
• 8-hour shifts
• Closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving

* Accredited bariatric program with an experienced care team. Conduct a medical office practice for new and established bariatric patients. Approximately 10-15 patients per day
* Must be comfortable working independently
* Share office call responsibilities with provider
* New patient, Pre-operative evaluations / clearance / post op follow ups
* High volume clinic with patients with various health needs
* Outpatient setting, Monday - Friday

* AHA approved BLS Certification
* Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply

* Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
* Experience preferred, new graduates will be considered with weightloss background

* Experience in weight loss preferred
* At least 2 years' experience in an outpatient setting preferred
