Description Under the general direction and supervision of the Administrative Nurse I and II, the Gastroenterology Technician I is responsible for the complex and critical job of endoscope and equipment decontamination and reprocessing and is the departmental expert in this vitally important area. You will perform duties as a processing technician to include decontamination and processing of flexible endoscopes and probes as assigned and needed within UCLA Health System.  This process will encompass ensuring that a pre-clean was performed prior to handling, leak testing, manual washing, loading into an automated processor
