Mercy Clinic Gastroenterology is seeking a BC/BE gastroenterologist to join a thriving, well-established GI program located on campus of Mercy Hospital Springfield, Missouri, an 880-bed Level I trauma center serving as the region?s premier referral hub. 

This is a hospital-employed position within a physician-led group that prioritizes fairness, efficiency, and long-term stability.  Physicians maintain a strong collective voice in operational decisions and equity across the practice.

Mercy Hospital Springfield: 

•          880 acute bed hospital Level I trauma center
•          System-wide EPIC EMR
•          Established referral pipeline from a large multispecialty network
•        On campus clinic + endoscopy center for seamless workflow

This Position Offers:

•          $700k guarantee & $50k Bonus
•          Four-day work with predictable scheduling
•          Call 1:8 supported by a strong cross-coverage culture and APP support
•          Reliable path to full clinic and endoscopy volume - immediate demand
•          Strong, consistent referral base from a large regional network
•          No cap on earnings with upper-quartile to top-decile potential
•          Efficient endoscopy unit with reliable access and protected block time
•          Opportunity for advanced procedures such as RFA, capsule endoscopy, BRAVO, Manometry, ERCP, EUS, and TIF
•          Equally shared call and endoscopy time - no senior hierarchy
