The Oklahoma City VA Health Care System is actively recruiting a Board-Certified Staff Gastroenterologist to help care for our American Heroes, the Veterans. The selected Gastroenterologist Physician Candidate responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, completing patient history and physical examinations, diagnosis, and therapeutic ability, effectiveness in emergencies, patient management, consultation, specialty skills and record keeping. The gastroenterologist is expected to promote delivery of quality patient care based on current standards in the practice of gastroenterology in the hospital and is skilled at performing endoscopy. Skills and knowledge are necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, including the ability to identify patient need
